CMS12530 is a special chip for toasters. It can control the heating time of toasters by adjusting the external oscillation resistor. In addition to normal mode, CMS12530 can achieve defrosting and reheating functions through DEFROST and REHEAT keys.
This manual provides a complete description of the CMS12530 integrated circuit used in three‑button toaster products. It includes pin assignments, electrical specifications, and the functional behavior of the DEFROST, REHEAT and CANCEL keys.
The document also explains how to calculate the heating time based on external oscillation resistors and capacitors, and supplies reference application circuits and packaging information for designers. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating voltage (VDD) | 4 V – 5.5 V |
|---|---|
| High‑level output voltage (Voh) | 4.5 V (no load) |
| Low‑level output voltage (Vol) | 0.5 V (no load) |
| High‑level output current (Ioh) | 5 mA |
| Low‑level output current (Iol) | 5 mA |
| Operating temperature range | 0 °C – 85 °C |
| Storage temperature range | -20 °C – 105 °C |
When the REHEAT key is pressed, the total work time is calculated as Time = A × (1‑t/B) + t.
Pressing the DEFROST key lights LED2, enters DEFROST mode, and extends the normal timing by a percentage calculated as (C3 + C4) / C3.
The system powers off, the electromagnet releases, and the toaster stops working.
