CMS12510 is a dedicated integrated circuit for simple toaster series products, which controls the heating time of the toaster by adjusting the external oscillating resistor.
This document describes the CMS12510 integrated circuit used in simple toaster products. It outlines the pin layout for the DIP‑8 package, explains the function of each pin, and details how the chip controls heating time by adjusting an external oscillator resistor.
The datasheet includes electrical parameters such as operating voltage, output voltage levels, and timing stability across temperature ranges. It also provides an example application circuit, PCB layout recommendations, and package dimensions to aid designers in implementing the chip. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Operating Voltage (VDD) | 4.4 V – 5.5 V |
|---|---|
| High‑level Output Voltage (Voh) | 4.5 V |
| Low‑level Output Voltage (Vol) | 0.5 V |
| High‑level Output Current (Ioh) | 5 mA |
| Timing at 0 °C | 30 s |
| Timing at 25 °C | 30 s |
| Timing at 50 °C | 31 s |
| Timing at 85 °C | 31 s |
The heating time is set by adjusting the external oscillator resistor, which changes the oscillation frequency and thus the timer duration.
Pressing STOP forces the output low, releasing the electromagnet and cutting power, which stops the toaster.
