The QPY-6255A LCD Control Board is designed around the MSM6255 LCD controller and offers a 64K‑byte display buffer, 4‑level grayscale, and a robust CPU interface with an 8‑bit data bus and five control lines. It supports various monochrome and STN color LCD modules up to 640×480 resolution and includes contrast adjustment and a compact 113×77 mm form factor.
The manual details the board’s hardware description, electrical characteristics, MPU and LCD module pin definitions, command set, and provides programming examples for both direct and indirect MCU control.
