Press the POWER key on the front panel; the unit beeps briefly and the software version appears on the screen.
Press F1 to select BACKLIGHT, then rotate the knob left or right to turn the backlight ON or OFF.
The 9‑pin connector uses the following signals: 1 – No connection, 2 – RX, 3 – TX, 4 – DTR, 5 – GND, 6 – DSR, 7 – RTS, 8 – CTS, 9 – No connection.
It includes a standard 32 KB fixed memory, which can be expanded to 160 KB with Option 01.
