RSM is a new series of data acquisition modules from Guangzhou ZHIYUAN Electronics, based on the RS-485 bus interface. The RSM data acquisition module integrates I/O, data acquisition, and isolated RS-485 bus interface. It supports standard Modbus protocol and custom ASCII protocol. The RSM-4050 is a digital input/output module that can sample 8 channels of digital signals, supporting switch contact signals and level signals, and also has 8 channels of digital open-drain outputs.
The RSM-4050 is a non‑isolated digital I/O module designed for industrial data acquisition and control. It supports eight digital input channels and eight open‑collector output channels, works with both switch and level signals, and provides safety‑time and safety‑value output features. Communication is handled via an isolated RS‑485 interface supporting Modbus and a custom ASCII protocol, with remote firmware upgrade capability.
The hardware consists of a 32‑bit ARM MCU, power supply circuitry, digital input and output circuits, and the isolated RS‑485 transceiver. The module is mounted on a DIN rail with a plastic enclosure, operates from +10V to +30VDC, and tolerates temperatures from –20 °C to +85 °C.
