Omate digital video optical terminal is a video transmission equipment that utilizes the advantages of optical communication, such as strong anti-interference, high bandwidth, low loss, good confidentiality, and modulates and multiplexes audio, video, and other signals and directly transmits them through optical fiber over long distances. It is widely used in video transmission and monitoring fields.
Omate's digital video optical transceiver uses advanced digital coding and wavelength‑division multiplexing to send up to 128 video channels, 72 audio channels, Ethernet and telephone signals over a single fiber. It is designed for harsh outdoor environments such as transportation, power, broadcasting and security networks.
Key features include broadcast‑grade video quality, CD‑grade audio, support for RS‑232/422/485, Manchester coding, and built‑in network management (NMS). The unit can operate from –35 °C to +75 °C, is dust‑, salt‑ and acid‑fog resistant, and can be installed in either rack‑mount or standalone configurations. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Video channels | 1–128 selectable |
|---|---|
| Audio channels | 0–72 bidirectional selectable |
| Ethernet speed | 10/100 M |
| Operating temperature | -35 °C to +75 °C |
| Typical power consumption (stand‑alone) | 6 W |
| Typical power consumption (rack‑mount) | 20 W |
| Maximum transmission distance (no repeater) | 120 km |
The transceiver can transmit up to 120 km without any repeaters; longer distances are possible by adding optical repeater nodes.
It works from –35 °C to +75 °C, humidity 5–95 % (non‑condensing), and is protected against dust, salt fog and acid fog.
Up to 128 video channels can be carried over a single fiber.
