This document describes how to install and configure VMware ESXi 4.0 Installable and vCenter Server 4.0 for use in a single-host virtualization environment.
The guide introduces the ESXi Installable product and walks administrators through the initial setup of a single‑host virtualization environment, including hardware verification, installation of the ESXi hypervisor, and basic network configuration.
It also covers using the vSphere Client to create virtual machines, connect to vCenter Server, and perform post‑installation tasks such as adding hosts, expanding storage, and accessing additional vSphere documentation. This manual is written in Chinese.
