GL843 is a high-performance USB 2.0 scanner controller produced by Genesys Logic, supporting 2-in-1 scanning function, supporting ADF automatic feeding function, and supporting 3x series products.
The GL843 integrates a scanner ASIC and a USB 2.0 interface on a single chip, enabling use in sheet‑fed, flatbed or transparency scanners. It supports both CIS and CCD image sensors ranging from 600 to 4800 dpi and can drive unipolar or bipolar stepping motors.
Key features include USB 2.0 High Speed (480 Mbit), flexible 3.3 V/5 V operation, external 24 KB flash or internal 24 KB mask ROM, multiple GPIO pins, PWM lamp control, and programmable motor acceleration tables.
