FD-3 type automobile computer detection instrument is a tool for testing and repairing automobile computer board. It can connect fuel injector, ignition, solenoid valve, relay and other driving components, simulate the working state of engine computer and gearbox computer, and detect and repair the engine computer of Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, Volkswagen Audi, American, Korean cars and most domestic cars as well as some Mercedes-Benz and BMW.
The FD-3 automotive computer tester provides digital diagnostics for a wide range of vehicle ECUs, supporting many makes such as Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Audi, and select foreign models. It offers 148 signal ports for engine, transmission and auxiliary system testing, and can be expanded with upgrade cards for additional vehicle types.
The manual explains the layout of the control panel, how to connect signal lines, adjust engine speed and signal voltage, and operate the power and ignition switches. It also includes correction notes for earlier editions and safety instructions for the 220 V power supply and fuse protection. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Maximum Power Capacity | 300 W |
|---|---|
| Typical Power Consumption | ≈15 W |
Use the “engine crankshaft signal voltage” knob to set the displayed value; aim for a reading around 5 for a typical 8 V optical or Hall signal.
Each upgrade card contains preset signal settings for a specific vehicle model; inserting a card automatically configures the appropriate crankshaft and camshaft signals without manual knob adjustments.
The tester provides 148 gray ports grouped into four sections for connecting various ECU signals such as temperature sensors, injectors, and relays.
