JX5121 Shaft Vibration Transducer is a simple and low-cost way to monitor rotating machinery shaft vibration directly with DCS, PLC interface. It can truly protect this type of equipment by monitoring the shaft vibration of main and auxiliary equipment such as steam turbine, compressor, fan and pump group. It has accurate measurement, stable and reliable performance, and strong anti-interference performance.
This manual introduces the JX5121 shaft vibration transmitter, a compact device that converts vibration displacement into a standardized 4‑20 mA signal. It describes the product’s features, performance specifications, and how it integrates with DCS or PLC systems for real‑time monitoring of rotating machinery such as turbines, compressors and pumps.
The document covers probe and extension‑cable selection, mechanical installation, wiring, calibration procedures, fault troubleshooting, and provides detailed diagrams. It also includes tables for probe diameter, cable length, and installation dimensions to help users configure the system correctly. This manual is written in Chinese.
| Power supply | +24 V DC, max current < 50 mA |
|---|---|
| Input probe | JX20 series eddy‑current sensor probe |
| Raw signal output | +2 V to +10 V, max transmission distance 300 m |
| Vibration output (current) | 4 mA – 20 mA, max load 750 Ω |
| Output ripple | < 20 mV |
| Frequency range | 4 Hz – 2 kHz (‑3 dB) |
| Dimensions (W×L×H) | 60 mm × 80 mm × 45 mm |
| Installation size | 51 mm × 51 mm, M4 screw |
| Operating temperature | -20 ℃ – 70 ℃ |
It is powered by a +24 V DC supply and draws less than 50 mA of current.
The probe should be mounted within 76 mm of the bearing, with its center line orthogonal to the shaft axis, and positioned at the midpoint of the sensor’s linear range.
Connect the calibration device, set the zero output to 4 mA, apply a 50 Hz sine wave to the Vout input, and adjust the gain potentiometer until the Iout matches the expected current.
