The IR2114/IR2214 gate driver family is suited to drive a single half bridge in power switching applications. These drivers provide high gate driving capability and require low quiescent current. They feature full short circuit protection and smoothly turn off the desaturated transistor through the dedicated soft shutdown pin, preventing over-voltages and reducing EM emissions.

The IR2161 is a dedicated Intelligent Half bridge Driver IC for a Halogen convertor (electronic transformer). It includes all necessary protection features and also allows the Convertor to be dimmed externally with a standard phase cut dimmer with both leading or trailing edge types. This IC provides the advantage of reduced thermal stress in the lamp due to softstart. There is also compensation of the output voltage for load regulation. It enables the convertor to operate with extremely low harmonic distortion over the full range of loads. The IR2161 includes adaptive deadtime to allow cool running MOSFETs and improves the EMI behaviour due to frequency modulation (dither). All the features are integrated in a small 8 pin DIP/SOIC package to allow for a size reduction in the next generation of convertors.

IR3832W SupIRBuckTM is a highly efficient synchronous buck regulator from IR company, which can be applied to DDR memory applications. This product supports wide input voltage range (1.5V-16V), wide output voltage range (0.6V-0.9*Vin), and maximum continuous output current of 4A.

IR2177/IR2277 is a high voltage, high speed, single phase current sensor interface for AC motor drive applications. The current is sensed by an external shunt resistor. The IC converts the analog voltage into a time interval through a precise circuit that also performs a very good ripple rejection showing small group delay. The time interval is level shifted and given to the output both as a PWM signal (PO) and analog voltage (OUT). The analog voltage is proportional to the measured current and is ratio metric with respect to an externally provided voltage reference. The max throughput is 40 ksample/sec suitable for up to 20 kHz asymmetrical PWM modulation and max delay is <7.5 µsec (@20kHz). Also a fast over current signal is provided for IGBT protection.

The IRS2336(D) IRS23364D is a high voltage three-phase gate driver IC from International Rectifier. The main feature is that it supports six IGBT/MOSFET power devices, and can drive 20V voltage. It has over-current protection, over-temperature shutdown input, advanced input filter, integrated dead time protection, shoot-through (cross-conduction) protection, under-voltage lockout for VCC and VBS, enable/disable input and fault reporting, adjustable fault clear timing, separate logic and power grounds, 3.3V input logic compatible, tolerance to negative transient voltage, designed for use with bootstrap power supplies, matched propagation delays for all channels, -40°C to 125°C operating range, RoHS compliant, and lead-free.

IR3831W is an easy-to-use, fully integrated and highly efficient DC/DC regulator. The MOSFETS co-packaged with the on-chip PWM controller make IR3831W a space- efficient solution, providing accurate power delivery for DDR memory applications. IR3831W is configured to generate termination voltage (VTT) for DDR memory applications. IR3831W offers programmability of start up time, switching frequency and current limit while operating in wide input and output voltage range. The switching frequency is programmable up to 1.5 MHz.
