This document introduces 3M's static control hardware, tapes, and training grounding systems and cords for the electronic specialty markets. It includes the 3M Workstation Product - Grounding System 3048, which easily snaps onto mats and runners to ground two single conductor wrist straps. It comes complete with a ring connector and a 15 ft. (4.6 m) ground cord. The ground cord has a 1 megohm resistor for mat connection only.

3M™ Low Static Polyimide Film Tape (Linered) 5433 is a linered version of 3M™ Low Static Polyimide Film Tape 5419. It is a translucent, polyimide film-backed silicone adhesive tape with unique and extremely low electrostatic discharge properties.

3M 3754 series round conductor flat cable has a 0.025 inch 30 AWG stranded and PVC insulated construction with gray appearance. This cable is rated for 30V and meets the RoHS standard requirements.

3M™ Accessories - Grounding Cord, 3040 is a 15 ft. (4.6 m) long connecting cord with a 10 mm snap. The product has an integral male snap fastener and a 1 megohm resistor, which can connect all 3M static control mats and runners to the building ground.

This product is a 3M 4600 series plug that uses glass filled polyester (PBT) as the insulation material. It has a UL 94V-0 flammability rating and can accept 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded wire. The product has a rated current of 1A, an insulation resistance of more than 1 x 109 Ω, and an rated voltage of 1000 Vrms. The environmental temperature range is -55°C to +105°C.

3M™ Thermally Conductive Grease TCG-2037 / TCG-2033 is a high performance thermal interface material for transferring thermal energy from a heat source (e.g.: processor chip, graphics chip, etc.) to a heat sinking or heat spreading surface. It is made of inorganic fillers in a non-silicone resin system, providing for excellent bulk thermal conductivity along with very low thermal resistance.

3M™ Glass Cloth Electrical Tape 79 is a 7-mil woven insulating glass cloth tape with an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. This tape is used to electrically insulate and provide mechanical protection at temperatures to 302° F (150° C). This tape provides insulation and solvent-resistant protection for use as coil cover, anchor, banding and core, layer and crossover insulation. It is edge-tear resistant, conformable and printable. It also features a superb absorption of resin and varnishes.
