  • LINEAR LT1764 Series 3A Fast Transient Response Low Noise LDO Regulatorshandbook

The LT®1764 is a low dropout regulator optimized for fast transient response. The device is capable of supplying 3A of output current with a dropout voltage of 340mV. Oper- ating quiescent current is 1mA, dropping to <1µA in shutdown. Quiescent current is well controlled; it does not rise in dropout as it does with many other regulators. In addition to fast transient response, the LT1764 has very low output voltage noise which makes the device ideal for sensitive RF supply applications. Output voltage range is from 1.21V to 20V. The LT1764 regulators are stable with output capacitors as low as 10µF. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery pro- tection, current limiting, thermal limiting and reverse cur- rent protection. The device is available in fixed output voltages of 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V, 3.3V and as an adjustable device with a 1.21V reference voltage. The LT1764 regu- lators are available in 5-lead

  • LINEAR LT1500/LT1501 Adaptive-Frequency Current Mode Switching Regulators handbook

The LT ® 1500 is an adaptive-frequency current mode step-up switching regulator with an internal power switch that is rated up to 700mA. In contrast to pulse skipping switching regulators, the LT1500 uses a current mode topology that provides lower noise operation and im- proved efficiency. Only at very light loads is Burst Mode TM activated to give high efficiency and micropower opera- tion. High switching frequency (up to 500kHz) allows very small inductors to be used, along with ceramic capacitors if desired. The LT1500 operates with input voltages from 1.8V to 15V and has only 200µA operating current dropping to 8µA in shutdown. A low-battery comparator is included which stays alive in shutdown. A second output feedback pin with negative polarity allows negative output voltages to be regulated when the switcher is connected up as a Cuk or a flyback converter. Two package types are available. The LT1500 comes in a 14-pin SO package, with two options available for fixed output (3.3V or 5V) or adjustable operation. A reduced feature part, the LT1501, comes in the smaller 8-pin SO package with internal frequency compensation. It is also available in adjustable and fixed output voltage versions.

  • LINEAR LT1341 5V RS232 Transceiver with One Receiver Active in Shutdown handbook

The LT1341 is an advanced low power three-driver, five-receiver RS232 transceiver. Included on the chip is a shutdown pin for reducing supply current to near zero. During shutdown one receiver remains active to detect incoming RS232 signals, for example, to wake up a system. All other receivers and the drivers assume high impedance states during shutdown. The driver disable function provides additional control of operating mode. When driver disable is high the charge pump and drivers turn off. Receivers continue to operate during driver disable. New ESD structures on the chip allow the LT1341 to survive multiple ±10kV strikes, eliminating the need for costly TransZorbs on the RS232 line pins. The LT1341 is fully compliant with all EIA RS232 specifications and operates in excess of 120kbaud even driving heavy capacitive loads. One Receiver Remains Active While in Shutdown, ESD Protection Over ±10kV, Uses Small Capacitors: 0.1µF, 0.2µF, 60µA Supply Current in Shutdown, Pin Compatible with LT1137A, 120kBaud Operation for RL = 3k, CL = 2500pF, 250kBaud Operation for RL = 3k, CL = 1000pF, CMOS Comparable Low Power: 60mW, Operates from a Single 5V Supply, Easy PC Layout: Flowthrough Architecture, Rugged Bipolar Design, Outputs Assume a High Impedance State When Off or Powered Down, Absolutely No Latchup, Available in SSOP Package.

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LTC1064-1 handbook

  • LINEAR TECHNOLOGY LT6554 handbook

The LT6554 is a high-speed triple video buffer with an internally fixed gain of 1 from Linear Technology Corporation. The individual buffers are optimized for performance with a 1k load and feature a 2VP–P full signal bandwidth of 400MHz, making them ideal for driving very high-resolution video signals. Separate power supply pins for each amplifier boost channel separation to 90dB, allowing the LT6554 to excel in many high-speed applications. While the performance of the LT6554 is optimized for dual supply operation, it can also be used on a single supply as low as 4.5V. Using dual 5V supplies, each amplifier draws only 8mA. When disabled, the amplifiers draw less than 100µA and the outputs become high impedance. Furthermore, the amplifiers are capable of turning on in less than 50ns, making them suitable for multiplexing and portable applications. The LT6554 is manufactured on Linear Technology’s proprietary low voltage complementary bipolar process and is available in the 16-lead SSOP package that fits in the same PCB area as an SO-8 package.
