The TI PTHxx010Y series are a series of ready-to-use switching regulator modules specifically designed for bus termination in DDR and QDR memory applications. They operate from either a 3.3 V, 5 V or 12 V input voltage and provide 62 W/in3 power density. These modules feature up to 91% efficiency, 15 A output current (12 A for 12 V input), output overcurrent protection (output tracks the system VREF) (nonlatching, auto-reset), DDR and QDR compatibility, VTT standby on/off inhibit, POLA™ compatibility, undervoltage lockout and operating temperature range of –40°C to 85°C.

The PTH03020W is a 3.3V input 22A, 3.3V input non-isolated wide-output voltage adjustable power module from TI, which has high performance, small size and industry-leading features.

The PTB78520W is a 20-A rated, wide-input (18-60 V) isolated DC/DC converter that incorporates Auto-Track™ power-up sequencing. This allows these modules to simultaneously power up with any other downstream non-isolated, Auto- Track compliant module. The PTB78520W module provides two outputs, each regulated to the same voltage. During power up, the voltage at ‘VO Bus’ rises first, allowing this output to provide input power to any downstream non-isolated module. The voltage from ‘VO Seq’ is then allowed to rise simulta- neously, under the control of Auto-Track, along with the outputs from the down- stream modules.

This product is a 5V input non-isolated wide-output adjust power module from Texas Instruments. It has a 6A output current, an output voltage adjustable range of 0.8V to 3.6V, an efficiency of up to 95%, a power density of 135W/in³, on/off inhibit and pre-bias startup functions, and an operating temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. It also has auto-track, output over-current protection, and other functions.

The TPIC1021 is the LIN (Local Interconnect Network) physical interface, which integrates the serial transceiver with wake up and protection features. The LIN bus is a single wire, bi-directional bus typically used for low-speed in-vehicle applications.

The TRS3318 is a single-chip RS-232 transceiver from TI that supports a data rate of 460kbps and has integrated ESD protection. The operating supply voltage range is 2.25V-3V.

The PT5100 modules are a series of economical, easy-to-use 1-A positive step-down, Integrated Switching Regulators (ISRs). These ISRs are compatible with most TO-220 style linear regulators, and when employed as a linear replacement, provide significant benefits in both efficiency and power dissipation. They are recommended for use in a wide variety of on-board power regulation applications. These include computer, data storage, industrial controls, and battery powered equipment. Modules are laser-trimmed for optimal output voltage accuracy, and exhibit excellent line and load regulation. The PT5100 also features output current limiting and thermal shutdown protection.

The PT5071 is a 1.5-ampere rated step-up/step-down Integrated Switching Regulator (ISR) that provides a tightly regulated 12V output voltage from a 7V to 16V variable input source. This high-performance ISR has applications in systems where the input voltage straddles the desired 12V output. The regulator has an adjustable output voltage and input start-up threshold, and a standby function for power conservation.

The PT5071 is a 1.5 ampere rated step-up/step-down Integrated Switching Regulator (ISR) that provides a tightly regulated 12V output voltage from a 7V to 16V variable input source. This high-performance ISR has applications in systems where the input voltage straddles the desired 12V output. The regulator has an adjustable output voltage and input start-up threshold, and a standby function for power conservation.

UCC27223 is a high-speed synchronous buck driver for today’s high-efficiency, lower-output voltage designs. Using Predictive Gate Drive® (PGD) control technology, these drivers reduce diode conduction and reverse recovery losses in the synchronous rectifier MOSFET(s). The UCC27223 includes an enable pin that controls the operation of both outputs. A logic latch is also included to keep both outputs low until the first PWM input pulse comes in. The RDS(on) of the SR pull-down sourcing device is also minimized for higher frequency operations. This closed loop feedback loop also improves driver stability and efficiency.
