Block Automation BTE-HSD100 Digital Hot Metal Detector User Manual

The BTE-HSD100 is a digital hot metal detector designed for steel production lines, featuring a stainless steel housing, LED display, and adjustable sensitivity. It detects infrared radiation from hot metal or objects in temperatures from 270°C to 1300°C with a 1ms response time. The unit supports multiple output types including relay, NPN, and PNP, and includes remote self-test and cooling options. It is suitable for harsh environments with steam or fog, using a water-cooled or air-cooled design with optional air blowers for lens cleanliness.

Installation and operation require setting parameters like threshold levels and output delay via dedicated buttons.
