The TL-717 recombinant human CTLA4 protein is expressed in human HEK293 cells and contains a C‑terminal His tag. It consists of 125 amino acids with a predicted molecular weight of 15.3 kDa, purity of ≥95% (SDS‑PAGE and HPLC), endotoxin level ≤0.01 EU/µg, and shows specific binding activity to B7‑1 and B7‑2 proteins in the ranges 0.1‑8 ng/mL and 0.5‑10 ng/mL respectively.

The lyophilized product can be stored at 4 °C for up to 24 months, and the reconstituted solution can be kept at –20 °C for 6‑12 months, avoiding repeated freeze‑thaw cycles. CTLA‑4 is an immune‑regulatory receptor that down‑regulates T‑cell activation by binding B7‑1/B7‑2, and the recombinant protein is used for research on immune modulation.
