MAXIM DG411F/DG412F/DG413F Manual

The DG411F/DG412F/DG413F are quad, single-pole/sin- gle-throw (SPST), fault-protected analog switches. They are pin compatible with the industry-standard nonpro- tected DG411/DG412/DG413. These new switches fea- ture fault-protected inputs and Rail-to-Rail signal- handling capability. All terminals are protected from overvoltage faults up to ±36V with power on and up to ±40V with power off. During a fault condition, the COM, NO, or NC terminal becomes an open circuit and only microamperes of leakage current flow from the source. On-resistance is 35Ω (max) and is matched between switches to 1.5Ω (max) at +25°C. The DG411F has four normally closed (NC) switches. The DG412F has four normally open (NO) switches. The DG413F has two NC and two NO switches. These CMOS switches operate with dual power supplies rang- ing from ±4.5V to ±20V or a single supply between +9V and +36V. All digital inputs have +0.8V and +2.4V logic thresholds, ensuring both TTL and CMOS logic com- patibility when using ±15V or a single +12V supply. For supply voltages of ±5V, +5V, and +3V, refer to the MAX4711/MAX4712/MAX4713 data sheet.

MAXIM MAX4708/MAX4709 Manual

The MAX4708/MAX4709 are 8-to-1 and dual 4-to-1 fault-protected multiplexers that are pin compatible with the industry-standard DG508/DG509. The MAX4708/MAX4709 are similar to the MAX4508/MAX4509, but these devices do not have clamp diodes to the supply rails on the switch outputs. These multiplexers feature fault-protected inputs, rail-to-rail signal-handling capability, and do not require power-supply sequencing. Both devices offer ±40V overvoltage protection with the supplies off, ±36V protection with the supplies on, and feature 400Ω (max) on-resistance with 15Ω (max) matching between channels. The MAX4708/MAX4709 operate with dual supplies of ±4.5V to ±20V or a single supply of +9V to +36V. All digital inputs have TTL logic-compatible thresholds, ensuring both TTL and CMOS logic compatibility when using a single +12V supply or dual ±15V supplies. For low-voltage applications requiring fault protection, refer to the MAX4711/MAX4712/MAX4713 data sheet. Applications include data-acquisition systems, industrial and process control, avionics, signal routing, redundancy/backup systems, ATE systems, and hot swap systems.

maxim MAX4886 Manual(1)

The MAX4886 is a high-speed analog switch from ADI that is ideal for HDMI/DVI switching applications. It contains four differential pairs of 1:2 or 2:1 switches for RGB and clocking signals. The MAX4886 can connect one monitor to one of two digital video signals, or one HDMI/DVI source to one of two loads (sinks). The MAX4886 is based on an nFET architecture with internal charge pump for gate overdrive. This advanced architecture results in an extremely low capacitance and on-resistance needed for the excellent return loss requirements for digital switching. An efficient internal charge-pump design offers very low quiescent current for power-sensitive notebook designs. The MAX4886 features 8Ω (typ) on-resistance and 2.5pF on-capacitance switches for routing RGB and CLK video signals. The MAX4886 is a high-frequency companion device to the MAX4929. These two devices combined perform the full 2:1 HDMI/DVI switching function. The MAX4886 is available in a space-saving, 42-pin, 3.5mm x 9.0mm TQFN package and operates over the extended -40°C to +85°C temperature range.

MAXIM MAX4800A/MAX4802A handbook

The MAX4800A/MAX4802A provide high-voltage switching on eight channels for ultrasonic imaging and printer applications. These devices utilize BCDMOS process technology to provide eight high-voltage low-charge-injection SPST switches, controlled by a 20MHz serial interface. Data is clocked into an internal 8-bit shift register and retained by a programmable latch with enable and clear inputs. A power-on reset function ensures that all switches are open on power-up. These devices operate with a wide range of high-voltage supplies including: VPP/VNN = +100V/-100V, +185V/-15V, and +40V/-160V. The digital interface operates from a separate VDD supply from +2.7V to +6V. Digital inputs DIN, CLK, LE, and CLR are +6V tolerant, independent of the VDD supply voltage. The MAX4802A provides integrated 35kΩ bleed resistors on each switch terminal to discharge capacitive loads. These devices are drop-in replacements for the Supertex HV2203 and HV2303. They are available in the 48-pin LQFP, 26-bump CSBGA, and 28-pin PLCC packages. All devices are specified for the commercial 0°C to +70°C temperature range.

MAXIM MAX4936 MAX4939 handbook

The MAX4936–MAX4939 are octal, high-voltage, transmit/receive (T/R) switches. The T/R switches are based on a diode bridge topology, and the amount of current in the diode bridges can be programmed through an SPIK interface. The MAX4936/MAX4938 include the T/R switch and grass-clipping diodes, performing both transmit and receive operations. The MAX4937/MAX4939 include just the T/R switch and perform the receive operation only. The MAX4936/MAX4938 transmit path is low impedance during high-voltage transmit and high impedance during low-voltage receive, providing isolation between transmit and receive circuitry. The high-voltage transmit path is high bandwidth, low distortion, and low jitter. The receive path for all devices is low impedance during low-voltage receive and high impedance during high-voltage transmit, providing protection to the receive circuitry. The low-voltage receive path is high bandwidth, low noise, low distortion, and low jitter.
