This document describes the features and characteristics of the X40010/X40011/X40014/X40015 Dual Voltage Monitor with Integrated CPU Supervisor, including dual voltage detection and reset assertion, independent core voltage monitor, fault detection register, selectable power on reset timeout and watchdog timer interval, low power CMOS design, and applications in communication equipment, industrial systems, and computer systems.

The X28C256 is a 32K x 8 E2PROM manufactured by Xicor using their proprietary high performance floating gate CMOS technology. Like all Xicor programmable nonvolatile memories, the X28C256 is a 5V only device.

The X25C02 is a CMOS 2048-bit serial E2PROM, internally organized as 256 x 8. The X25C02 features a serial interface and software protocol allowing operation on a simple three-wire bus. The bus signals are a clock input (SCK) plus separate data in (SI) and data out (SO) lines. Access to the device is controlled through a chip select (CS) input, allowing any number of devices to share the same bus. The X25C02 also features two additional inputs that provide the end user with added flexibility. By asserting the HOLD input, the X25C02 will ignore transitions on its inputs, thus allowing the host to service higher priority interrupts. The WP input can be used as a hardwire input to the X25C02 disabling all write attempts, thus providing a mechanism for limiting end user capability of altering the memory. The X25C02 utilizes Xicor’s patented design and manufacturing techniques, including advanced automated processes, to ensure outstanding performance and reliability.

The X25080 is a CMOS 8192-bit serial E2PROM, internally organized as 1K x 8. The X25080 features a Serial Peripheral Interface (SPI) and software protocol allowing operation on a simple three-wire bus. The bus signals are a clock input (SCK) plus separate data in (SI) and data out (SO) lines. Access to the device is controlled through a chip select (CS) input, allowing any number of devices to share the same bus. The X25080 also features two additional inputs that provide the end user with added flexibility.

The X24164 is a CMOS 16,384 bit serial E2PROM, internally organized 2048 x 8. The X24164 features a serial interface and software protocol allowing operation on a simple two wire bus. Three device select inputs (S0–S2) allow up to eight devices to share a common two wire bus. Xicor E2PROMs are designed and tested for applications requiring extended endurance. Inherent data retention is greater than 100 years.

The X24022 is a CMOS 2048 bit serial E2PROM, internally organized 256 x 8. The X24022 features a serial interface and software protocol allowing operation on a simple two wire bus. Three address inputs allow up to eight devices to share a common two wire bus. Xicor E2PROMs are designed and tested for applications requiring extended endurance. Inherent data retention is greater than 100 years. The X24022 is available in eight pin DIP and SOIC packages.

XM28C040 is a high density 4 Megabit (512K x 8) module from Xicor company with 200ns access time, working temperature range of –55°C to +125°C. The module consists of four X28C010s mounted on a co-fired multilayered ceramic substrate. XM28C040 is configured as 512K x 8 bit and supports a 256-byte page write operation. The module also supports DATA Polling or Toggle Bit Polling, effectively providing a 39µs/byte write cycle, enabling the entire array to be rewritten in 10 seconds. XM28C040 provides the same high endurance and data retention as the X28C010.
