MAXIM DS12885 DS12887 DS12C887 Manual
The DS12885, DS12887, and DS12C887 real-time clocks (RTCs) are designed to be direct replacements for the DS1285 and DS1287. The devices provide a real-time clock/calendar, one time-of-day alarm, three maskable interrupts with a common interrupt output, a programmable square wave, and 114 bytes of battery-backed static RAM (113 bytes in the DS12C887 and DS12C887A). The DS12887 integrates a quartz crystal and lithium energy source into a 24-pin encapsulated DIP package. The DS12C887 adds a century byte at address 32h. For all devices, the date at the end of the month is automatically adjusted for months with fewer than 31 days, including correction for leap years. The devices also operate in either 24-hour or 12-hour format with an AM/PM indicator. A precision temperature-compensated circuit monitors the status of VCC. If a primary power failure is detected, the device automatically switches to a backup supply. A lithium coin-cell battery can be connected to the VBAT input pin on the DS12885 to maintain time and date operation when primary power is absent. The device is accessed through a multiplexed byte-wide interface, which supports both Intel and Motorola modes.

MAXIM MAX796/MAX797/MAX799 Manual
The MAX796/MAX797/MAX799 are high-performance, step-down DC-DC converters with single or dual outputs that provide main CPU power in battery-powered systems. These buck controllers achieve 96% efficiency by using synchronous rectification and Maxim’s proprietary Idle Mode™ control scheme to extend battery life at full-load (up to 10A) and no-load outputs. Excellent dynamic response corrects output transients caused by the latest dynamic-clock CPUs within five 300kHz clock cycles. Unique bootstrap circuitry drives inexpensive N-channel MOSFETs, reducing system cost and eliminating the crowbar switching currents found in some PMOS/NMOS switch designs. The MAX796/MAX799 are specially equipped with a secondary feedback input (SECFB) for transformer-based dual-output applications. This secondary feedback path improves cross-regulation of positive (MAX796) or negative (MAX799) auxiliary outputs. The MAX797 has a logic-controlled and synchronizable fixed-frequency pulse-width-modulating (PWM) operating mode, which reduces noise and RF interference in sensitive mobile-communications and pen-entry applications. The SKIP override input allows automatic switchover to idle-mode operation (for high-efficiency pulse skipping) at light loads, or forces fixed-frequency mode for lowest noise at all loads. The MAX796/MAX797/MAX799 are all available in 16-pin DIP and narrow SO packages.

MAXIM MAX5138/MAX5139 Manual
The MAX5138/MAX5139 are a family of single-channel pin-compatible and software-compatible 16-bit and 12-bit DACs. They are low-power, high-linearity voltage-output DACs with buffered outputs. These devices accept a wide supply voltage range and feature multiple interfaces and functions, making them suitable for precision control and instrumentation applications.
MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS DS1991 MultiKey iButton handbook
Introduces the characteristics of 1152-bit secure read/write, nonvolatile memory, which cannot be deciphered unless 64-bit password matches. The memory is partitioned into 3 blocks of 384 bits each, each memory block has 64-bit password and ID fields, 512-bit scratchpad ensures data transfer integrity, the operating temperature range is -40°C to +70°C, and the data retention time is over 10 years.
MAXIM INTEGRATED PRODUCTS MAX6650/MAX6651 Fan-Speed Regulators Monitors with SMBus/I2C-Compatible Interface handbook
MAX6650/MAX6651 are fan controllers for 5VDC/12VDC brushless fans with built-in tachometers. They support SMBus™/I2C* interface, can monitor fan speed and automatically adjust voltage to match the pre-programmed speed.

MAXIM MAX127/MAX128 Manual
The MAX127/MAX128 are multirange, 12-bit data acquisition systems (DAS) that require only a single +5V supply for operation, yet accept signals at their analog inputs that may span above the power-supply rail and below ground. These systems provide eight analog input channels that are independently software programmable for a variety of ranges: ±10V, ±5V, 0 to +10V, 0 to +5V for the MAX127; and ±VREF, ±VREF/2, 0 to +VREF, 0 to +VREF/2 for the MAX128. This range switching increases the effective dynamic range to 14 bits and provides the flexibility to interface 4–20mA, ±12V, and ±15V-powered sensors directly to a single +5V system. In addition, these converters are fault pro- tected to ±16.5V; a fault condition on any channel will not affect the conversion result of the selected channel. Other features include a 5MHz bandwidth track/hold, an 8ksps throughput rate, and the option of an internal 4.096V or external reference. The MAX127/MAX128 feature a 2-wire, I2C-compatible serial interface that allows communication among multi- ple devices using SDA and SCL lines. A hardware shutdown input (SHDN) and two software- programmable power-down modes (standby and full power-down) are provided for low-current shutdown between conversions. In standby mode, the reference- buffer remains active, eliminating start-up delays. The MAX127/MAX128 are available in 24-pin DIP or space-saving 28-pin SSOP packages.
MAXIM MAX9675 Manual
The MAX9675 is a nonblocking 16 x 16 video crosspoint switch with buffered inputs and outputs. The device operates on ±5V analog supplies. Digital logic is supplied separately from an independent +2.7V to +5V supply. The MAX9675 inputs and outputs are buffered with all outputs able to drive a standard 75Ω reverse-terminated video load. The switching matrix and programmable gain are controlled through an SPI™/QSPI™-compatible 3-wire serial interface. The serial interface is designed to operate in either of two modes to provide fast updates and initialization. All outputs are held in the disabled state during power-up to avoid signal conflicts in large switching arrays. The programmability and high level of integration make the MAX9675 an ideal choice for nonblocking video switch arrays.
