This document provides information regarding the migration from the EM773 to the EM783-SC version device. This document should be used in conjunction with both device datasheets. The following is a list of the differences between EM773 and EM783-SC.
This application note explains the unique auto-calibration feature of the
touch sensor family from NXP and provides guidelines for enhanced water
and condensation safe operation, focusing on applications with capacitive
touch buttons
This application note is related to the installation procedures of the PTEV501B Board. It describes the board and the required actions to hand on quickly the Evaluation board.
The LM75B can be configured for different operation conditions. It can be set in normal mode to periodically monitor the ambient temperature, or in shutdown mode to minimize power consumption. The OS output operates in either of two selectable modes:OS comparator mode or OS interrupt mode. Its active state can be selected as either HIGH or LOW. The fault queue that defines the number of consecutive faults in order to activate the OS output is programmable as well as the set-point limits.
The KMA221 is a magnetic angle sensor module. The MagnetoResistive (MR) sensor bridges, the mixed signal Integrated Circuit (IC) and the required capacitors are integrated into a single package.
The KMA215 is a magnetic angle sensor module with digital output in accordance with SAE J2716 JAN2010 Single Edge Nibble Transmission (SENT). The MagnetoResistive (MR) sensor bridges, the mixed signal Integrated Circuit (IC) and the required capacitors are integrated into a single package.
The KMA220 is a dual channel magnetic angle sensor module. The MagnetoResistive (MR) sensor bridges, the mixed signal Integrated Circuits (ICs) and the required capacitors are integrated into a single package. Both integrated channels are working full independently. The supply voltage has common terminals. Further explanations are referring to a single channel of the KMA220.
The KMZ60 angle sensor is dedicated for rotor position detection for BLDC motors.Beyond that the KMZ60 is applicable for Electronic Power Steering (EPS) applications, steering angle measurement, window wiper position detection and general contactless angular measurement (e.g. throttle valves or actuators). The KMZ60 is fully automotive qualified as well as applicable for industrial and consumer applications.
This datasheet introduces the basic information of NXP PCA8886 sensor. It is a low power dual channel capacitive proximity switch that uses a patented EDISEN digital method to detect a change in capacitance on remote sensing plates. Static capacitance (i.e. non-dynamic capacitance changes) are automatically compensated by continuous auto-calibration. Remote sensing plates (e.g. conductive foil) can be connected directly to the IC1 or remotely using a coaxial cable.
The PCT2075 also includes an open-drain output (OS) which becomes active when the
temperature exceeds the programmed limits. The OS output operates in either of two selectable modes: OS comparator mode or OS interrupt mode. Its active state can be selected as either HIGH or LOW. The fault queue that defines the number of consecutive faults in order to activate the OS output is programmable as well as the set-point limits.
The integrated circuit PCF8883 is a capacitive touch and proximity switch that uses a patented (EDISEN) digital method to detect a change in capacitance on a remote sensing plate. Changes in the static capacitance (as opposed to dynamic capacitance changes) are automatically compensated using continuous auto-calibration. Remote sensing plates
(e.g. conductive foil) can be connected directly to the IC1 or remotely using a coaxial cable.
