The DRV8312/32 is a three-phase PWM motor driver from TI. Its high-efficiency power stage (up to 97%) makes it an ideal choice for energy-efficient applications. The DRV8312/32 requires two power supplies, one 12V GVDD and VDD power supply, and another up to 50V PVDD power supply. The DRV8312/32 can operate at up to 500kHz switching frequency while still maintaining precise control and high efficiency. They also have an innovative protection system safeguarding the device against a wide range of fault conditions that could damage the system. These safeguards include short-circuit protection, overcurrent protection, and undervoltage protection.
