ANALOG DEVICES ADE7761A handbook

Update: 30 September, 2023

ADE7761A is a high accuracy active energy measurement IC that supports IEC 62053-21. It has an error of less than 0.1% in a dynamic range of 500:1, and it provides active power on the frequency outputs F1 and F2. The high frequency output CF is intended for calibration and provides instantaneous active power. The ADE7761A can monitor phase and neutral currents continuously to perform fault detection in 2-wire distribution systems. The current channel input level is best suited for shunt and current transformer sensors. It can use the larger of the two currents (phase or neutral) to bill, even during a fault condition. The ADE7761A can monitor voltage and current inputs continuously to perform missing neutral detection. When missing neutral is detected, it can use one current input (phase or neutral) to bill.
