CAT1320 and CAT1321 are complete memory and supervisory solutions for microcontroller-based systems. A 32kbit serial EEPROM memory and a system power supervisor with brown-out protection are integrated together in low power CMOS technology. Memory interface is via a 400kHz I2C bus. The CAT1320 provides a precision VCC sense circuit and drives an open drain output, RESET low whenever VCC falls below the reset threshold voltage. The CAT1321 provides a precision VCC sense circuit that drives an open drain output, RESET high whenever VCC falls below the reset threshold voltage. The power supply monitor and reset circuit protect memory and system controllers during power up/down and against brownout conditions. Five reset threshold voltages support 5V, 3.3V and 3V systems.

CAT25C01/02/04/08/16 is a 1K/2K/4K/8K/16K Bit SPI Serial CMOS EEPROM with features including 10 MHz SPI compatibility, 1.8 to 6.0 volt operation, hardware and software protection, and low power CMOS technology.

The CAT5259 is four digitally programmable potentiometers (DPPs™) integrated with control logic and 16 bytes of NVRAM memory. Each DPP consists of a series of resistive elements connected between two externally accessible end points. The tap points between each resistive element are connected to the wiper outputs with CMOS switches. A separate 8-bit control register (WCR) independently controls the wiper tap switches for each DPP. Associated with each wiper control register are four 8-bit non-volatile memory data registers (DR) used for storing up to four wiper settings. Writing to the wiper control register or any of the non-volatile data registers automatically loads the wiper settings to the potentiometers, saving switch operation time.

CAT25C11/03/05/09/17 1K/2K/4K/8K/16K SPI Serial CMOS EEPROM is a 10 MHz SPI compatible EEPROM that operates from 1.8 to 6.0 volts and is produced by Catalyst Semiconductor. It features hardware and software protection, low power CMOS technology, commercial, industrial, automotive, and extended temperature ranges, 1,000,000 program/erase cycles, 100 years of data retention, self-timed write cycle, 8-pin DIP/SOIC, 8/14-pin TSSOP, and 8-pin MSOP.

The CAT24FC65/66 is a 64k-bit Serial CMOS EEPROM internally organized as 8,192 words of 8 bits each. The device features a 64-byte page write buffer. The device operates via the I2C bus serial interface and is available in 8-pin DIP, SOIC, TSSOP and TDFN packages.

I Watchdog is a device that monitors the SDA signal, compatible with a 400kHz I2C bus, operates at a voltage range of 2.7V to 6.0V, utilizes low power CMOS technology, has a 16-byte page write buffer, and built-in inadvertent write protection. It supports active high or low reset, precision power supply voltage monitor for 5V, 3.3V, and 3V systems, and offers five threshold voltage options. It has a program/erase cycle of 1,000,000, manual reset, and 100-year data retention. It is available in 8-pin DIP or 8-pin SOIC packages, and suitable for commercial and industrial temperature ranges.

The CAT5419 is two Digitally Programmable Potentiometers (DPP™) integrated with control logic and 16 bytes of NVRAM memory. A separate 6-bit control register (WCR) independently controls the wiper tap position for each DPP. Associated with each wiper control register are four 6-bit non-volatile memory data registers (DR) used for storing up to four wiper settings. Writing to the wiper control register or any of the non-volatile data registers is via a 2-wire serial bus (I2C-like). CAT25C128/256 is a 128K/256K-bit SPI Serial CMOS E2PROM internally organized as 16Kx8/32Kx8 bits. Catalyst’s advanced CMOS Technology substantially reduces device power requirements. CAT25C128/256 features a 64-byte page write buffer. The device operates via the SPI bus serial interface and is enabled through a Chip Select (CS). In addition to the Chip Select, the clock input (SCK), data in (SI) and data out (SO) are required to access the device. The HOLD pin may be used to suspend any serial communication without resetting the serial sequence. CAT25C128/256 is designed with software and hardware write protection to protect data from accidental erasure.

CAT3644 is a high efficiency Quad-ModeTM fractional charge pump that can drive up to four LEDs programmable by a one wire digital interface. The inclusion of a 1.33x fractional charge pump mode increases device efficiency by up to 10% over tradi– tional 1.5x charge pumps with no added external capacitors. Low noise input ripple is achieved by operating at a constant switching frequency which allows the use of small external ceramic capacitors. CAT4238 is a DC/DC step-up converter produced by Catalyst Semiconductor, Inc. It supports a fixed switching frequency of 1MHz, drives LEDs, and has an output voltage of up to 38V. The efficiency is up to 87%, the current is less than 0.6mA, the output current is adjustable, and it supports soft start, overcurrent protection, open LED overvoltage protection, automatic shutdown UVLO protection, and thermal overload protection.
