How do I replace the battery in the TPK492 tester?
Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the tester and insert a new 9 V battery.
What does the green PASS light indicate during measurement?
A green PASS light means the wrist strap or foot ring and its grounding connection are normal and properly connected.
How do I clean the ion emitter?
Rotate the cleaning knob clockwise to the end, then release; this cleans the ion emitter needle.
What should I do if the unit sounds an alarm?
Check for dust on the ion emission needle and clean it, then adjust the ion balance if needed.
What safety precautions must be observed when using the TPK4200A?
The unit must not be installed in hazardous environments with flammable, corrosive or explosive materials, and it must be kept away from water, oil, solvents and other conductive substances.
How do I adjust the delay function?
Turn off the power switch and unplug the unit, open the top cover, then turn the VR1 potentiometer; clockwise shortens the delay, counter‑clockwise lengthens it up to 12 seconds.
