The ADM485E/ADM487E/ADM1487E are 5V low power data transceivers with ±15 kV ESD protection suitable for half-duplex communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. They are designed for communication based on the TIA/EIA RS-485/RS-422 standard and have data transfer rates of 250 kbps (ADM487E) and 2.5 Mbps (ADM485E/ADM1487E). Additionally, they feature reduced slew rates for low electromagnetic interference, a common-mode input range of -7V to +12V, thermal shutdown, and short-circuit protection.

The ADM1487 is an ultra-low power RS-485/RS-422 transceiver consisting of one driver and one receiver per package. Quiescent operating current is typically 80µA and 1µA in shutdown mode. The driver and receiver both have three-state outputs. This allows multiple drivers to be connected to an RS-485/RS-422 bus, or several receiver outputs to be connected to a serial data bus. The driver will maintain a high-impedance output state even with power off, while the receiver features fail-safe operation that guarantees a logic high output if the inputs are left open-circuit. The device has slew-rate limited drivers to minimize electromagnetic interference (EMI) and reduce reflections caused by incorrectly terminated cables.

The ADM485 is a differential line transceiver suitable for high speed bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It is designed for balanced data transmission and features high speed, low power BiCMOS technology.

The ADM1486 is a differential line transceiver suitable for high speed bidirectional data communication on multipoint bus transmission lines. It is designed for balanced data transmission, complies with EIA Standards RS-485 and RS-422, and is recommended for PROFIBUS applications.

The ADM1485 is a 5V low power EIA RS-485 transceiver that supports 30Mbps data rate and a -7V to +12V bus common-mode range. It has thermal shutdown protection and short-circuit protection. The driver propagation delay is 10ns and the receiver propagation delay is 15ns.

The AD8112 is an audio/video crosspoint switch with a bandwidth of 60 MHz and a 16×8 configuration. It has a gain of +2 and is a low-cost, high-speed, nonblocking switch array. The switch array can be controlled through serial or parallel programming, and the serial data out allows daisy chaining control of multiple 16×8 arrays to create larger switch arrays. The output disable feature allows connection of multiple devices without loading the output bus. The AD8112 exhibits excellent audio and video performance, operates on ±5 V or ±12 V supplies, and has low supply current and wide bandwidth characteristics.

AD8113 is a 16x16 crosspoint switch produced by Analog Devices, which supports 60MHz frequency and can be programmed in serial or parallel. It supports multiple device connections.

The AD8114/AD8115 16 × 16 crosspoint switches are low-cost, high-performance switch arrays that operate at 225 MHz with 16 buffered inputs, high impedance outputs, and 16 output amplifiers, making them suitable for a variety of video and analog applications.
