USP Ingredient Verification Program for Dietary Ingredients

The United States Pharmacopeia Ingredient Verification Program for Dietary Ingredients (USP IVP-DI or Program) is designed to assist participants in assuring their customers – dietary supplement manufacturers and others – that the manufactured dietary ingredient is produced in a facility that has implemented Good Manufacturing Practices (as defined in this manual), and the participant’s other quality controls and systems meet all Program requirements.
