ST 74LCX245 LOW VOLTAGE CMOS OCTAL BUS TRANSCEIVER (3-STATE) WITH 5V TOLERANT INPUTS AND OUTPUTS handbook
Update: 29 September, 2023
The document describes the features and characteristics of the 74LCX245 low voltage CMOS octal bus transceiver. It has 5V tolerant inputs and outputs, and is suitable for low power and high speed 3.3V applications. This product is intended for two-way asynchronous communication between data buses, with the direction of data transmission determined by the DIR input. The enable input G can be used to disable the device, effectively isolating the buses. All inputs and outputs are equipped with protection circuits against static discharge, providing 2KV ESD immunity and transient excess voltage protection. All floating bus terminals during the High Z state must be held HIGH or LOW.
