ST L6258E handbook

The L6258E is a PWM controlled high current DMOS universal motor driver capable of driving both windings of a bipolar stepper motor or bidirectionally controlling two DC motors. Its features include an output current of up to 1.2A per winding, a wide voltage range of 12V to 40V, four quadrant current control, precision PWM control, no need for recirculation diodes, TTL/CMOS compatible inputs, cross conduction protection, and thermal shutdown.
