Update: 29 September, 2023
This document introduces a high-performance wireless system-on-chip called STM32W108 with 256KB of embedded Flash memory. The chip features a 32-bit ARM Cortex-M3 processor, a 2.4GHz IEEE 802.15.4 transceiver with lower MAC protocol, and 128/192/256KB Flash memory with 8/12/16KB RAM. It includes an AES128 encryption accelerator, flexible ADC, SPI/UART/I2C serial communications, general-purpose timers, and 24 highly configurable GPIOs with Schmitt trigger inputs. The chip is powered by the industry-leading ARM Cortex-M3 processor, delivering exceptional processing performance and efficiency with the Thumb-2 instruction set. It operates at frequencies of 6, 12, or 24MHz. The chip offers low power consumption and advanced power management, supporting low deep sleep current with retained RAM and GPIO. It also features low-frequency and high-frequency internal RC oscillators for sleep timing and fast processor start-up. In terms of RF performance, it provides exceptional link budget, sensitivity, and output power, with configurable options.
