This document provides information on a product that is in full production. The product is an automotive MICROWIRE serial EEPROM memory with capacities of 1 Kb, 2Kb, 4Kb, 8 Kb, or 16 Kb. It uses the industry standard MICROWIRE bus and has dual organization by word (x16) or byte (x8). It features the ability to write a byte or word within 5 ms, supports a 2 MHz clock rate, provides a READY/BUSY signal during programming, operates with a single supply voltage of 4.5 V to 5.5 V or 2.5 V to 5.5 V, has an operating temperature range of -40°C to 125°C, offers enhanced ESD protection, supports over 1 million write cycles, and has over 40-year data retention. The product is available in various packages including SO8, TSSOP8, and PDIP8.
