The ST1480AB/ST1480AC is a 3.3V powered, 15kV ESD protected, up to 12 Mbps true RS-485/RS-422 transceiver. The transceiver has a common mode input voltage range of -7 to 12, a maximum of 1µA low current shutdown mode, guaranteed data rate of 12Mbps, industry standard 75176 pinout, driver overload protection with current limiting and thermal shutdown, guaranteed high receiver output state for floating, shorted or terminated inputs with no signal present, and allows up to 64 transceivers on the bus
