ST STEVAL-ISV009V1 300 W photovoltaic converter demonstration board based on the SPV1020 handbook

This document describes the features and characteristics of the 300W photovoltaic converter demonstration board based on the SPV1020. It includes a PWM mode DC-DC boost converter with MPPT algorithm controlling the duty cycle with 0.2% accuracy. The operating voltage range is 0-40V with overvoltage, overcurrent, and overtemperature protection. It has a built-in soft-start and achieves up to 98% efficiency. It automatically transitions to burst mode for improved efficiency during low solar radiation. The board also features an SPI interface and is RoHS compliant.
