ST STEVAL-ILL031V1 Digital constant-current controller for LED driving based on the STM8S208x handbook
Update: 29 September, 2023
The STEVAL-ILL031V1 is a digital constant-current controller for LED driving based on the STM8S208x. It has a DC input voltage of 48V and adapts the output voltage through the Buck stage to drive LEDs with the selected current. The controller allows driving of 4 LED strings, managing up to 120W. Using 3W LEDs, each string can obtain 30W (10 LEDs in series in each string). Additionally, it features low voltage-sensing circuitry, logic level MOSFETs driven by the microcontroller without a gate driver (ground referred), and high efficiency (up to 98%).
