STTH8BC065 is a high voltage rectifier for BC2 topology. It features low switching losses and improved efficiency compared to conventional continuous mode PFC using standard ultrafast 600V PN diodes. It improves efficiency by up to 2.5% and performance efficiency by up to 0.5% compared to 600V Schottky power diodes with no reverse recovery charges used in CCM PFC at 200kHz. It supports PFC working up to 300kHz and is suitable for PFC up to 2kW. The product is compatible with standard PFC controller ICs.
