ST AN442 Application note handbook

This note shows how to connect an ST triac and an ST microcontroller. It introduces a conventional solution that uses a buffer transistor between the microcontroller and the triac, and a new solution that improves the sensitivity of the triacs and the output capability of the microcontrollers, allowing for a simple connection without a buffer transistor.
