STMPE2401 is the first of ST's port-expander logic products, and in addition to providing additional I/Os, it also has advanced features such as PWM control, Keypad scanning, and Rotator dial control, which can reduce the processor load. This application note explains how to configure STMPE24001's PWM controller to achieve LED backlighting, brightness control, and LED blinking.
