RD-324 is a reference design for Fairchild PFM controller FAN7621, which is applied to LCD TV. The input voltage range is 340~400VDC, the output voltage is 24V(8.3A), the rated output power is 200W, the topology is LLC resonant half-bridge converter. The key features of the design include variable frequency control, high efficiency, fixed dead time, up to 300kHz operating frequency, pulse skipping for frequency limit (programmable) at light-load condition, remote on/off control using control pin, various protection functions: over-voltage protection (OVP), overload protection (OLP), over-current protection (OCP), abnormal over-current protection (AOCP) and internal thermal shutdown (TSD)
