FAN6862R/L is a highly integrated green-mode PWM controller from Fairchild Semiconductor Corporation. This product features low startup current, low operating current, peak current mode operation, cycle-by-cycle current limiting, PWM frequency continuously decreasing under light loads, burst mode, VDD over-voltage protection, constant output power limit, over-temperature protection, fixed PWM frequency (65KHz), frequency hopping, feedback open-loop protection, 56ms delay, soft-start time 5ms, 400mA driving capability. Suitable for various general-purpose switch-mode power supplies and flyback power converters, such as power adapters, open-frame SMPS, SMPS with surge-current output (such as printers, scanners and motor drivers).
