HI 718 iodine meter is a device produced by Hanna Instruments for measuring the concentration of iodine in water. The measurement range is 0.0-12.5ppm, with a resolution of 0.1ppm. The instrument uses a 525nm light source for measurement, and the detection method is the DPD method of the 18th edition of the Standard Methods for the Examination of Water and Wastewater. The principle of the method is that iodine reacts with the reagent to produce a pink color, and the concentration of iodine is calculated by measuring the absorbance.
