High-efficiency capillary columns (referred to as high-efficiency columns for short) are capillary columns with an inner diameter of less than 0.25 mm. Compared with conventional capillary columns with inner diameters of 0.25-0.32 mm, high-efficiency columns have higher theoretical plates (N) and higher peak capacities (µmol/m), which can achieve higher separation efficiency and lower analysis time. Agilent J&W high-efficiency columns use high-efficiency filling technology to ensure separation efficiency while maintaining good retention and reproducibility. Agilent J&W high-efficiency columns are suitable for applications in all fields of gas chromatography, including gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry-time-of-flight (GC-MS-FTMS).
