Agilent Seamless transfer of elution gradients from Agilent 1100/1200 Series LCs to an Agilent 1290 Infinity LC using ISET Manual

This document introduces Agilent Intelligent System Emulation Technology (ISET) technology, which can be used to achieve seamless method transfer from Agilent 1100/1200 Series LCs to Agilent 1290 Infi nity LC. Using ISET, the same chromatographic results can be achieved without any modifications to the instrument or changes to the original method. The document demonstrates through experiments that gradients run on an Agilent 1100 Series LC System, including typical linear gradients as well as gradients with dif- ferent slopes, steps, and isocratic parts, correlate almost 100% to gradient profi les created on the Agilent 1290 Infi nity LC System with ISET.
