Agilent has partnered with Markes International to bring a complete system for the analysis of volatile and semivolatile compounds in air. The system consists of Agilent's GC and GC/MS instruments combined with Markes' UNITY, ULTRA TD, and UNITY-Air Server products, providing a versatile and state-of-the-art solution for air analysis. The UNITY thermal desorber is the core of the TD system, offering long-term reliability and high analytical performance for routine and challenging applications. It includes sample protection features required for compliance with international standard methods, as well as a unique repeat analysis capability called SecureTD™. Markes' thermal desorption systems are compatible with industry standard sorbent tubes, canisters, bags, and on-line air sampling. The system is fully supported by Agilent's renowned sales and service organization.
