The bq2063 SBS v1.1-compliant Li-Ion gas gauge IC provides accurate measurement of available charge in Li-Ion batteries. It supports the 2-Wire SMBus V1.1 interface with PEC or Single-Wire HDQ16. It directly interfaces the Seiko S-8243 protection IC for maximum safety protection and minimal component count. It supports internal or external thermistor and reports individual cell voltages. It uses a 15-Bit ADC for accurate voltage, temperature, and current measurements. It consumes less than 0.5 mW operating power and drives a 4- or 5-segment LED display for remaining capacity indication.
