Texas Instruments bq2000T Manual

This document introduces a programmable, monolithic IC for fast charge management of nickel cadmium (NiCd), nickel metal-hydride (NiMH), or lithium-ion (Li-Ion) batteries. The product has several features, including safe management of fast charge, high-frequency switching controller, pre-charge qualification, fast charge termination criteria, selectable top-off mode, programmable trickle-charge mode, built-in battery removal and insertion detection, and sleep mode for low power consumption.
