Agilent Handling of Electronic Records with ChemStation Plus

This document describes the nature and location of all electronic data in a ChemStation Plus networked data system, including the add-on modules ChemStore as central database and Security Pack for support of compliance requirements. The document will help system and laboratory managers to understand how electronic results are managed by a ChemStation Plus system and how all related records are linked to a final result. The document will also help system administrators to understand the format of all ChemStation Plus electronic data, the data location and data organization in the database, and the operating system perspective. The ultimate goal of this document is to give every system user an outline of the ChemStation Plus structure, which will allow them to prove data integrity of their results and of the entire system during an audit or investigation. This document should be stored and managed carefully as the information contained herein could be misused to modify or manipulate ChemStation Plus electronic records.
