Agilent Detection of Cannabinoids in Oral Fluid Using Inert-Source GC/MS
Update: 29 September, 2023
This article describes an analytical method for the detection of cannabinoids in oral fluid. The method utilizes an Agilent 5975 GC/MS instrument and allows for the simultaneous determination of Δ9-tetrahydrocannabinolic acid A (THCA-A), tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), cannabinol (CBN), and cannabidiol (CBD) in oral fluid samples. The method achieves the required sensitivity for the detection of THC, CBN, CBD, and THCA-A in oral fluid specimens taken from a habitual marijuana smoker.
