Agilent A 0.32 mm ID Capillary Column Approach to Contract Laboratory Program (CLP) Pesticides Analysis

Update: 29 September, 2023

This document describes a method for pesticide analysis in the competitive contract laboratory marketplace using 0.32 mm ID capillary columns. It demonstrates the use of Agilent J&W DB-17ms and DB-XLB GC columns with hydrogen carrier and dual electron capture detection for trace level CLP pesticides analysis. The method is useful for laboratories that prefer the higher sample loading capacity of the 0.32 mm ID columns. Agilent's Capillary Flow Technology (CFT) 2-way splitter is used to transfer the sample onto the dual columns, simplifying maintenance and reducing instrument downtime.
