Agilent Technologies Identification Quantitation of Co-eluting Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory Drugs by Diode Array Detection
Update: 01 October, 2023
This application note describes a method for rapid separation and quantitation of a mixture of 10 non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) using fast high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) and diode array detector (DAD). Separations are performed in less than 5 minutes using a 3-cm long column. To enhance resolution, two wavelengths, 254 and 360 nm, are used. Quantitation is performed by integrating the peak areas of the absorbance peaks at each wavelength. This method can be used to rapidly identify and quantify the NSAIDs present in a mixture.
