Agilent Analysis of fumonisin FB1 FB2 mycotoxins in corn food feed samples using the Agilent 1120 Compact LC System coupled to the Agilent 6140 Single Quadrupole LC/MS System
Update: 30 September, 2023
This document introduces two methods for analyzing fumonisin FB1 and FB2 in food and feed samples using the Agilent 1120 Compact LC system and Agilent 6140 Single Quadrupole LC/MS system: simple extraction method (EM) and immunoaffinity column (IAC) extraction method. The results showed that both methods can successfully analyze food and feed samples. The recovery rate of the simple extraction method is higher than that of the immunoaffinity column method. The recovery rate of the EM method is between 62% and 78%, while that of the IAC method is between 42% and 64%. The simple extraction method has high cost-effectiveness, while the immunoaffinity column method has less matrix effects.
