Agilent Flash Purification of non-UV-active Compounds by Evaporative Light Scattering Detection Manual

This document demonstrates the benefits of using an evaporative light scattering detector (ELSD) coupled to the Agilent 971-FP Flash instrument for the analysis of a sample containing a mixture of UV and non-UV-active compounds. The ELSD can detect compounds without UV chromophores, preventing the loss of these compounds that would go undetected by UV and be discarded.
